The Heartland Village is a major part of the borough's West Shore landscape. With more than 10,000 residents it is one-of-a kind located right on Long Island Sound with stores and even an entire shopping center bearing its name that can be found throughout all areas in this large county region including New York City itself making it easy to find if you look up maps or use most recent GPS system!

The streets that fall within the framework of Richmond Avenue, Forest Hill Road and Rockland Avenue are considered Heartland Village. Technically speaking though those particular neighborhoods get absorbed into larger community New Springville which also encompasses Staten Island Mall as well!

The development of Heartland Village began in the late 1960s when empty fields were populated with new one and two family homes. These ranch style houses are still prevalent today, though they've been joined by other types of residential structures such as apartments or lofts for more recent years.
