Homes for sale in Brighton Heights display a tasteful mix of American architectural styles, spanning the length and breadth of 20th century trends and beyond.

Notable examples include the well-proportioned American Foursquare homes with low-hipped roofs and wide porches. Other homes borrow details from Victorian, Craftsman and new-colonial styles.

Throughout the neighborhood, one can see large dormer windows topping large roofs, extending many homes up to 2.5 stories. Shingle, clapboard, and vinyl-sidings give many of the homes a classic Midwestern farm-house look, enhanced even further by the odd gambrel roof.

And contributing to the cozy community feeling of many streets, many front stoops have stairs descending straight onto the sidewalk.

Homes for sale within Brighton Heights range from 1 to 2.5 stories, tend to have narrow facades, split-level designs, and interiors with hardwood floors, basements, and steam heating.
